I've already made the decision some time ago, that when I once again find 
myself working in Radio, and an AM transmitter is needed... it's definitely going 
to be a Nautel. Done deal. :)

FM is where my experience is much more limited, so I'll be asking a for lot 
of input... but I believe Nautel has some good FM's in their linup now, so 
they'd certainly be in the running!

As for the MOSFET amplifiers wanting a perfect load, I can understand that! 
They are amazing devices, to say the least. Some of the modern ones have "on" 
resistances in the single-digit *milliohms* and current limits into the many 
dozens of amps! (In TO-220 packages, no less!) Amazing stuff!
