Barry, do you or anyone else on the list know the extension used by Office
2007? I've been receiving an increasing number of attachments recently at
work with the extension *.docx rather than the standard Winders Orifice *.doc

I'm using Office 2003 running on Win2000. Upgrading is not an option. If
it's something I want the current solution is to ask the sender to send as a
plain document or cut'n'paste into the body of the email.

If the problem with *.docx files is because of formatting unique to Office
2007, it is a prime example of newer isn't always better if it isn't backwards
compatible.
