Which is the experience I had when dealing with Dell corporate CS, and is
the main reason I went with Dell the one time I bought a "home" computer
from them. However, their home CS completely shot them out of the water
forevermore. They will never sell me another machine, nor will I ever
recommend them to a client for this reason. I buy local now, like I should
have in the first place.

Agreed. Again, short term view vs long term vision.
