Yes, I would suggest that you take your inclinometer and get the elevation
reading off the dish itself, the buttonhook assembly, or just use your EL
figure from when you set up the dish.  Then hold the inclinometer againt the
lowest side of the dish, angle it appropriately, and sight along it to
establish how much (if any) of the dish is shadowed by the fence or other
obstruction.  This should give you a tangible concept of what is happening.
