Vonage also charges you $ 39.95 to drop the account. I gave up on
them, as the Motorola router they supplied me, while it would take the
requested changes to supply a DMZ to my ancient technology IRLP ham
radio, it can not save the changes in memory. Any power bump and I get
to reprogram. AT&T made me a real nice deal on VOIP when I got U-Verse.
Install tech got a kick out of the IRLP system, and set up the router
with me, worked just fine. I then pulled the plug, and it came back just
fine.
But, one whole additional month of billing and $ 39.95 to
disconnect. Two lumps of coal for them :)
