You can have many bad bits in your wireless phone
communications and still understand the conversation.

I was taught, over 25 years ago, the spread-spectrum communications
was rather impervious to a single carrier on any given frequency worth
of interference. And any small amount of FEC would compensate for that.
And that was 25 years ago. My $ 75 902-928 mHz spread spectrum wireless
telephone will continue to operate when I key up my "near CW carrier"
902-928 repeater at my house.
You can fool some of the people some of time, but not on this forum.
