I once called the New York Public Library's information line to find 
out how many houses of worship there were in the city. The Public 
Library's line knows everything or will find it for you. I was very 
surprised to see that a city allegedly steeped in sin, debauchery and 
naughty stuff had well over 10,000 "official" places to worship. Add 
to that all the storefronts used for worship and I'll bet New York 
has more, per capita, than any other city. That would make Las Vegas 
much more sinful.
