Yeah, I was at the Dallas convention in 1986 and even then it seemed
cramped. I can't comment on hotels, however, as my wife and I were staying
with relatives.

The Atlanta convention (1991?) was just as bad. That time I stayed at a
hotel in Norcross, quite a distance away. It seemed as though the stuttle
driver took a different route to the convention center every day. But when
I left the convention center, a shuttle whisked me away to
Hartsfield-Atlanta airport and I was on my way pretty fast.
