Even MORE Eons ago when I was a DJ, we'd have people call in and request the song I was playing at the moment. I'd ask if they were listening and they'd say "yes". hmmmm
OR, those folks who call for information, specifically a phone number, and when you start rattling it off, they say, "wait a minute, let me find a pen."
