[BC] Dead air or no air...

One Winter morning some years ago when I had the live sign on at WKDK on Sunday AM, I was getting to turn on the microphone and there was this loud BAANG outside, and total darkness. The phones are dead, so I went up the street to the gas station ( also dark ) and had them phone in to the power company. I fiddled around and found a plug in phone. When I plugged in to the main line it was ringing. My cousin Violet was calling to tell me was off the air. I told her I know, I was sitting in pitch dark. Power came on within 45 minutes. A squirrel got across the transformer and was vaporized said the power company worker who came in to tell me what transpired.
