The NV test site auctioned off hundreds of those meters several years back. I purchased mine on E-bay but took delivery from a storage shed here in LV. I have used it in many joint exercises with the local Law Enforcement and Civil Air Patrol, and other than surprise that anyone would give a damn enough to have one, there has been no other reaction from Law. Of course I'm not that far from the nuclear testing sites of the 50-60's. IN CAP I'm qualified as both a ground and Aerial Radiological monitor. Most of our equipment is privately owned and Surplus CD.
