Not in my area. Only in your area designed to irritate you on purpose... :)

The old Mr.Roboto was nothing more than DECtalk. I don't know what they use now with the new voice. I used to do Methane Prediction Center warnings with the computer. <AHEM!> One done on a Amiga with the old voice had them fooled for about a second and then they were on the floor laughing..

Repeat after me. The voice is Mr.Roboto, not Perfect Paul. I started that name and the NWS HATES it.

YOU DON'T DO FOLLOW UPS. If the tornado dissipates, that's the end of it, but if it continues onward, another warning will be issued.

They do, they just want to irritate you and make you whine on [BC] about them.

A couple times they let NNNN get past their editing. I have NEVER let them live it down. I even have a Skywarn coffee cup that says SkywarNNNN. I used to take it to the weather bureau when I was running Skywarn nets, and lived close to the weather bureau. I also have a NNNN T-shirt, and had a large magnetic sticker, in addition to skywarn said NNNN.

Pedanic and not Perfect Powell
