 Be certain that you speak with Randy Davis at Freeland.
 Tell him your transmitter model etc.
 They hand check and select various tubes that they have definitively determined certain characteristics that play better with C and H and B etc xmtrs.
 As I have a very close relationship with all the Freeland family I have a bit of bias here.
 BUT I DO AND HAVE installed a great number of their products with very reliable results.
 Tell Randy that Harold recommended that you speak with him.
 You will find them very personable and exceptionally interested in each and every users good results.

I put one in a BTF-20  ~6 months ago. It tuned up better than any tube I'd 
seen in a long time ( Not a hog for screen current like brand E.) and is 
pumping 25kw, untouched.  Have had short life on brand E in recent years. 
Also cheaper--no, less expensive than brand E at that time.
I wouldn't hesitate to try one. Call the guy at Freeland and discuss it (he 
doesn't bite)..........
