Right on.  The disk is not spinning at all.  I dried blowing some TFE into
it and that didn't help.  The problem is, these things are just not being
made any more, at least the kind that can be readily started from the
board.  Another MDS-E11 or -E12 would just plug right in to the existing
wiring.
