[BC] Call Letters

KHNL 13 has been calling themselves "News 8" for several years.  8 is 
their cable position on Oahu.  it seems to me that the eventual over the 
air number may be irrelevant to a station if it has a consistant branding.

number in any on-air IDs or promotion almost two years ago.  I can't 
figure out why, since no one I know inside or outside the business refers 
to any TV station by its call sign or any form of ID other than its 
channel number, and they are already using virtual channel 4 on their DTV 
operation.
