[BC] Failed networks

I received a heated Monday morning call from a distant station demanding 
I repair the automation system NOW. A listener had called and told them 
they had dead air for 3 hours on Saturday afternoon. Upon checking the 
automation log I found that there had been no relays received for that 
three hour period. Further checking showed that this was the 3rd 
Saturday in a row that this happened. I checked with the network and was 
told that the show had been canceled a month ago.
While explaining this to a contentious and disbelieving OM/PD, one of 
the air staff over heard us and said "This is the show I gave you the 
notice letter about three months ago, and you never told me what you 
decided to put in it's place"
No one ever could give me a good reason as to how this could have been 
going on for 3 weeks without anyone from the station noticing!
