[BC] Windows NT browser problem

Hello:

I have a Win NT 4.0/SP6 with two NIC's; one for the university and the other 
for the isolated Vault network. 

I cannot pull up a lit of computers when I click on the Network icon; it says 
that the network is unavailable. It's always worked fine before, as the 
saying goes :-)

If I know the computer name and share names of other computers, I can map 
drives just fine. Drives previusly mapped, work fine; name resolution is 
apparently OK then. 

Why do you suppose I can't get a browse list on either the NIU side or the 
Audiovault side?

I've warm-booted and cold-booted the computer a couple times.  No change. 

Anything other than the browser service on this machine not running, would 
cause this problem?  No changes have been deliberately done to the computer tha
t 
I know of, unless for some reason, the university has bout some kind of 
program on my computer that prevents browsing.
