I also have FF3 and it worked fine here.  I wonder if it's a DNS issue and
not a browser quirk?  Verizon DSL is what I have.  I use their DNS plus a
public one like 4.2.2.2 in the configs.  At one client they could not
connect to their own site from some office computers.  I just added the
4.2.2.2 as the third DNS and it fixed it.  The first two DNS were the
ISP-recommended ones.
