Actually, Mark is the News Director.  I filled in for him a couple of weeks
ago while he was on vacation.  Yes, most of our music is still on reels.  We
bought out the library from KPOL, Schulke, and other places that did
Beautiful Music.  But we also mix in a lot of newer stuff from CD.  It's not
really Music Of Your (former) Life, Adult Standards or Beautiful Music.  In
fact, I am one who doesn't think of a "format" in terms of a playlist, genre
of music, or any of that.  I think of it as whatever pleases a particular
target demographic.  IOW, people-oriented instead of programming-oriented.
If you are providing a service, it helps to be a servant.
