That's a little extreme but it would work.  I simply called the company and
explained the situation.  All funds were returned to my account and a new
card with a new number was issued and I heard nothing else about it.  Simple
easy and it worked best of all.

One technique to avoid unwanted re-billing by such services is to go 
online to the "account maintenance" section and update the credit 
card info to a non-working card, then cancel the account.
