 It was a very good week.
 Even a blind squirrel stumbles across a nut now and again.

 In this particular case, it was something much, much too minor to have
 such an effect. So minor, I don't even remember what.
 Something like he'd misplaced his coffee coaster.

 Actually, there was a staff of three, who just didn't happen to
 be in the building at that moment.
 All of them have since left of their own accord, last I'd heard.

 As you have said many times on this same list, a good show is a team effort.
 No individual is more important than any other.
 Most of us have egos. Some deserved, many not.

 The nationally *recognized* show hosts I've dealt with have all been
 not too unreasonable, recognizing that it is a *we* effort over all.
 They have their quirks, but most of us do. None have been
 unreasonable, or insulting.
 It's the minor, relatively unknown "stars" that can be a real pain.
 At least, in my experience. Most of them wouldn't have a
 "national" show at all, except that they work cheap enough to be
 worth putting on the bird just to fill the time.
