First, the Radiosophy radio, IMO, is terrible.  Cheap feel and lousy sound. 
For the money you could do much better.

Second, I signed up for the IBOC rebate after buying my Sony HD tuner and 
they ask you to volunteer a lot of information, but if you look closer there 
is no verification and requirement for most of it.  Just name, address, 
original UPC, and receipt.
