Right. If you're not doing a remote or two every week, it makes more sense
to rent. When I was at KAPX in San Clemente, that's what I told the
owners. I contacted a pro sound guy in Santa Ana, Charlie Webber, and he
not only provided the gear, but he set it up and ran it most times. Why tie
up capital and worry about depreciation schedules and maintaining equipment
when you can take it as an expense?
