I remember some of the Patriotic music being played on a lot of stations...
and listener call-ins. It was powerful, compelling, and moving. I know that I
was moved to tears a number of times while listening.

I also remember all of the flags... *everywhere* you looked, the Flag was
flying high. Sad that it takes an incredible tragedy like that to bring people
together... and even more sad that the effect of that togetherness wore off so
quickly. :(

While I was at WFIF, I would dedicate the morning music segment to all
Patriotic music every Sept 11'th. If I were still there, I'd continue to do it. When
I have WPHA someday, I'll do it there as well. I'll need to dial around and
see if any other stations still do this, now. It is Patriots Day, and should
always be remembered that way.

Willie...
