The Indianapolis police radio station is still at the same locale;
although the MW radios have long since given way to VHF, and now 800
MHz... and the tower long since replaced (at least twice) with 1000 footers.

The library (imcpl.org) has some old city maps with the station's
callsign - a standard four-letter call indistinguishable from a
commercial station; I forget the actual callsign, though. I noticed
it while researching (hobby) the old streetcar and interurban lines...

Southeast corner of State Av and Washington St... at the west end of
Willard Park.
