The pattern is designed to serve Detroit, Windsor (and the north
shore of Lake Erie) and Toledo days, and Detroit, Windsor (and the
north shore of Lake Erie) and Cleveland nights.

Service to Toledo has to be sacrificed at night as 800 is a Mexican
clear channel.

The station necessarily must protect co-channel Class Bs in Montreal
and Quebec City.

All of this is accomplished by a four tower parallelogram (one side
fairly long, significantly longer than a half-wave, one side
unusually short, shorter than a quarter-wave) and a central tower.
