I did some work with Ed while he was at CKLW. We played with the alpha
version of the Gregg Labs AM processor. It was all proto boards that were
wire wrapped. We also did some AM stereo work together. He believed in work
hard party hard and we had a lot of fun doing both. His legendary processing
(before Gregg) was the crown cross over, LA 3s and a solid statesman
limiter.

The CKLW transmitter site had a highly modified MW 50 B, an RCA 50 KW plate
mod (forgot which suffix) and a 5 KW RCA basically used for tuning the
array.

ED was a great guy. Saw him a few years ago at NAB, I did not know he was
Ill. A great loss.
