But this was from their own excesses. The
"sweetening" of all the shows with MacKenzie
machines made the silly crowd laughs and
applause so mechanical and predictable that
it was a "plus" to have real, unsweetened audio.
A similar bad one is:
"On the next all-new xxxx, you won't believe
who killed the plot."
This grew out of the abuse of "clips" from
older shows making up more and more
of a "new" show.
Still, it grates every time I hear it.
