 Are you meaning to imply that we're NOT already headed well
 into that direction ?
 It seems to me that we are, just somewhat slower than full compliance
 with the letter of the law would take us.

 There was a time when a responsible Chief, or GM, not only could, but
 was required to do the right thing.
 These days, there is no requirement, and in some organizations it's
 a punishable offense.

 It seems to me that we are on a path created by partisan political
 appointees, to serve partisan political agenda, rolling hard with the
 tide of political change, and with no regard for the results.
 Ah, for the days when a guy like Jim Quello could not only get
 considered, but actually end up ON the Commission !
