The problem is most likely with the installed drivers that the OS is using
to access hard disk/motherboard, which are wrong for your new motherboard.
If there is no boot at all, most likely the problem is with the hard disk
controller driver.
You can try putting the HD back into the old PC, going into Device Manager
and changing the driver for IDE ATA/ATAPI controller to Standard/Generic
controller (click Update driver, then Install from specific location, then
Don't search, I will choose driver to install). After you've changed the
driver to Standard/Generic, try putting it into the new PC.
There might be more issues to follow, but if you at least get your Windows
to start booting you can get into Safe Mode and fix (remove) any other
drivers (video, storage, etc) that might be incompatible with your new
hardware.
