Can you supply more info? Is there just an RJ 45 or is there an actual
interface box, if so what is it? There are two possibilities that come to
mind, one is this is a fractional T1 the second is that it is a synchronous
switched 56 K line. There is an outside chance it is just a very slow DSL or
ISDL line.

You will need different equipment configurations depending on the line.
Also, in any case you will need a digital audio codec on each end. If you
monitor your signal off air, it will have to be one with very low delay.

Before you spend a dime, please better identify what kind of circuit and
interface you actually have. It will affect what hardware options you have.
The phone company will have a name for the service, that will help. Any
description or model number of any interface device supplied as a part of
the service will also be very helpful.
