Glen,
Check the BIOS to see if LBA is enabled for the hard drive, or set to AUTO.
Another thing I'd do, if you don't have any other drives on the working PC,
is set the old hard drive as a MASTER using the little jumper on it.
Sometimes setting drives up as CS (cable select) can create problems
If none of that works, you can always set the old drive up as a slave....and
you should have access to it's data.
