In the BIOS setup, there are probably at least two ways to configure
hard-drive access, one is C/H/S (or something like that) and another
is "auto" and another might be "Phoenix," etc. Try each one. One
of the settings __should__ allow it to boot. Further, in the BIOS
you can see (under hard drives) if it actually sees your hard disk.
Also, some drives allow the cable to be plugged in the wrong way
because they use cheap connectors with no keyway. Check that, too.
