Hello all,
I just read page 14 of this weeks Wireless Review, a.k.a.
Telephony. It talks about a new mobile data extraction
device that, when connected to your cell-phone via the
power plug, apparently not just a power plug, will allow
law enforcement persons to extract everything you have
ever done on your cell-phone. Contrary to popular belief,
what youve done, the persons you have contacted, and
the places youve been (if GPS enabled), are not stored
on your internal memory card. The important things are
stored in (name your vendor) databases, providing law
enforcement unlimited access to the information you
might have thought was private.

I was thinking of getting a cell-phone. Now Im sure I
dont want one. I do not want anybody to know where
I am going, who I am talking to, how many hours Ive
spent at my house, at work, on-the-road, etc., nor where
Im going to be next weekend. Its not because I am
planning to nuke the universe, its just because I plan
to remain American.
