	I reflect Allen's answer and would add that I hard solder the center
pin with a reinforcement of a piece of 18 gauge wire. Additionally, in
parallel to that I put a small piece of solder wick in a slightly bowed
configuration that will flex so that if the hard solder comes off, I can
still have a good connection.
	Because the "remote techs" can strip the threads in no time flat, I
always use a right angle connector from the so239  to route the cable to the
side.  If they strip that I toss it, and replace it.  I am only out a couple
of bucks and five minutes work rather than a couple hours to drill out and
replace the SO239.
