That same trust was shared by the top guy at GM after the esteemed 
Mr. Gates ridiculed how primitive today's cars are. The head dude 
asked: "Would you buy a car that crashed twice a day?" "Would you buy 
a car that often required you to reinstall the engine for no apparent reason?"

I think the esteemed Mr. Gates rewrote the speech before its next delivery.
