If what's been happening here is also happening everywhere else (I believe 
that it is) then I think I know why!

Lamar Advertising is putting up electronic billboards along I-95 here in CT. 
(Bridegeport area right now.) For the first time ever, I have seen ads for 
local church events up there! Obviously, they are offering advertising packages 
that make these signs affordable to the "Mom-and-Pop" sized businesses in town. 
That could certainly take a bite out of radio & newspaper advertising.

The signs are pretty "cool", too.

When WPHA comes to be, I will certainly be looking into using those to raise 
awareness of the station!
