 Amazing what some folks will do.
 In Detroit, at the former 12 tower, had a run of 7/8 ( yeah, seven eighths )
 about 50 or 75 feet long, from the 50 ( yep. FIFTY kilowatt ) transmitter to
 the phasor, as a permanent installation !
 When asked, the local said they used 7/8 because that's how big the
 existing hole in the wall was.

 Of course, when I was done with it, it became 3 1/8.
 Shockingly, that cable runs cool, and it took a few kilowatts less to
 show 52 at the common point.
 Amazing.
