[BC] Harris 50 om coax jumpers

Good question.  I've never paid much attention to it.

The Harris PL for the HT25 calls out standard RG213, RG316 (tiny stuff) and 
RG58 only.  The HT-30/35 also throws in RG393, a very high temperature 50 
ohm coax used for connections between the IPA and PA.  In all cases there 
are not any notes found pertaining to special treatment of these cables. 
Possibly a simple SOP by the manufacturer?  Increase abrasion resistance 
(for some unknown reason)?  To cover up the fact that they buy their cable 
from Radio Shack? (heh)

Maybe that's a good academic question for Harris tech support.
