I have a WVRC-8 at our translator. I am a bit underwhelmed with it. It goes
'goofy' every few weeks and sends erroneous readings such as 400+ watts TPO
on a 250 watt Crown TX.
It DOES however still allow a shutdown of the TX even when it has lost its
sanity. I know the Crown will nail the TPO exactly, (the reading is exactly
correct when I eventually visit the site) so I do not worry about the odd
readings until I can get out there. All it needs is a power cycle and it is
OK again.
Another aggravation is the near 'no-op' nature of the line in monitoring
function. Yes, it works, but is way low in sensitivity and rather useless.
I would rather have bought a Sine, but thought the BT would suffice. It
has, but marginally. Perhaps there is a firmware upgrade??
