[BC] Boston CBS cutbacks

In Boston, CBS has canned veteran sportscaster Bob Lobel, long time
entertainment reporter Joyce Kulhawik and news anchor Scott Wahle.

It almost seems like they are canning their 'signature' talent-the ones that
people tune in to watch. 

I'm sure that these people command the highset salaries at the stations, but
getting rid of the REASON THAT PEOPLE TUNE YOU IN sure seems like a moronic
play to me!

Clearly, this is a total bean counter move-and completely short term thinking
on the part of CBS.

Of course, WBZ-TV has been stuck in third place for some time-and these cuts
insure that they stay here a LONG time more!  I'm sure that these people will
be quickly picked up by channels 5 or 7 there.
