I think (and it pains me to say it!) that Bob might have been 
mistaken about WPAT being on Empire. I'm pretty sure the FM went from 
the AM towers in Clifton (where it was originally on 103.5 way back 
when, then taken silent, then revived on 93.1 in 1957), then up into 
the Passaic Hills somewhere (I may be confusing this one with 
WVNJ-FM), then Chrysler, then WTC, and only came to Empire after 9/11.
