Well, in the Specific Instance, Bob Bigboss and Elmer Engineer are the 
same guy... only doing afternoon drive (he's NOT a morning person! ;-) 
:-D :-P ).  The Office Gal and Morning Drive are the same person, if I 
can get her up that early; otherwise it can run by itself, with George 
Newsdirector handling the "make it sound live".  10 am - 2 pm is running 
itself - only George is in  the studio, occasionally, to update the news 
and weather.  Overnights are handled by some college intern 
(work-for-class-credit) or something.  Ditto weekends.  Or it can run 
unattended, if the EAS gear is set up right...

Utilities are open to trade-outs...

BIG thing is, though - why pay someone to do what the computer can do by 
itself?  The STAFF is there to make the station BE local, not just SOUND 
local. OTOH, let it be known that such a station really exists, and the 
applicants will come - even if you're only paying $10.30/hr and no 
"benefits". (Restaurant tradeouts don't count...)

(Hmm.  Benefits... I wonder if there's any reason a dentist or MD 
couldn't advertise?  Eye doctors do... ISTR seeing an ad for a dentist 
on the back of my church bulletin... )

(Maybe an insurer could be persuaded to trade.....)
