Here at PARI, with sensitive radiometers on site, I have to be quite careful
with the beaucoup UPS's I have here. I use APC SmartUPS RM3000's for the
most part; they are quite quiet.

Monitors are rather loud; but not at the frequencies in which we are
interested (mainly the 300-350MHz pulsar band, the 1420MHz neutral hydrogen
line (and a couple hundred MHz each side to accomodate red and blue shift),
the various hydroxyl lines around 1667MHz, continuum radiation in the
2.3-2.4GHz band (no WiFi here!), the formaldehyde absorption line around
4.8GHz, the methanol maser line at 6.6GHz, continuum radiation in the 8.5GHz
area, and the 22GHz water maser line).
