[BC] Programmers who understand the audience

XM is another fraud! They first advertised it to be commercial-free.
That was why we had to pay over $130 per year for the privilege
of listening to repeating automation systems that were blanked out
if we drove near large trees or buildings. Now, we even have to
listen to commercials if the signal gets through.
They "automatically renew" your account, meaning that they
just steal more money from the credit-card you first used to
"enable" the service. Once you convince them to REALLY
TERMINATE the account, by terminating the charge number,
the XM automobile radios periodically interrupt AM, FM, and
CD audio, declaring that your account has expired. There is
no way to turn the "&*!@%$R_&_" off, except by paying the
"account" charge, or drilling a hole in the radio in some
special spot, so the down-link chip gets disabled..
Letters to various agencies go unanswered, which is why
they get away with this stuff. All the XM Radio stuff is spewed
from a single converted warehouse in Washington, D.C.
It truly is a license to steal.
