It's sad to see what a lot of libraries think is no longer 
relevant or needed by today's researchers...

Volume after volume of the SMPTE Journal, "Radio 
Broadcast" from the 1920's, "Electric Railway Journal", 
and so many others...thousands of books on just about 
anything you can think of related to the history of our 
culture...

The fortunate thing is that many of these have been picked 
up by organizations like the Internet Archive and made 
available, gratis...
