Ed Schultek does a "Sales Meeting Minute" every
weekday morning on WLAD. It's a 60 second
sales tip. I met him and a lot of what he preaches
is true and makes sense.

Having managed a standalone AM in a market with
many in and out of market stations, one needs to be
creative and innovative when it comes to sales. Having
experience in Promotions is an assett as well. Sales
is more art than science. You are not dealing with a
piece of equipment on a workbench. Relating to your
client is the most important factor in closing a sale.
