[BC] BM/EZL Format

I'm telling you, with polyphonic wavetable synthesizers as good as they are
these days, you don't NEED an orchestra to make instrumental versions of pop
songs that sound like they were done by one.

By the way...channel 78 on XM is their most popular station-BY FAR!

What the (moron) broadcasters don't understand is that as people age, they
grow INTO easy listening! Today's baby boomers are XM's biggest customers-and
most of them listen to the EZ station there at least part of the time!

Yes, and Marlin Taylor of Bonneville's Beautiful Music format programs
it. I emailed with him awhile back to catch up a bit. I ran the
Bonneville format in Kingman AZ over 30 years ago. We had PAMS
beautiful music format before that, but they got very bad about
freshening the tape library. Wish I still had it though. They had some
stuff in there I've never heard anywhere else. One I'm looking for is
"The Day the World Still" the Charlie Pride hit done in a gorgeous
instrumental. Someone said it may have been done by Tommy Alsop, but I
have never found that artist/orchestra.
