[BC] Only 2 IBOCs in Los Angeles

How many were there before? Stations are starting to shut the thing off, so I 
think the first shoe has already dropped... 

How long before the second one drops? Let's face facts- it is just *not 
workable* on the MW band in the real world. Period. Even if your facility is 
"perfect", putting that much RF onto your two 1'st adjancents' channels isn't doing 
them ANY good.

IBOCalypse avoided? Let's hope so!

The FCC needs a serious proposal from someone they will take seriously, to 
propose an expansion of the FM band downward, reallocating TV 5 and 6 for that 
purpose. 1'st dibs for this new band of FM freq's should go to the Locals, the 
Daytimers and stations with low night powers. Then critical DA's, etc.
