I had one at WDOR 910 in Sturgeon Bay, WI when I started working there 
in May of 1962.  It was the original transmitter and had been installed 
in 1951 or 52 when the station was built.  Don't know if it was new at 
that point.  Other than replacing the 833A's (usually not allowed by 
owner till they had holes in the plates), the only thing that ever 
happened to it was that the plate blocking capacitor on the 807 driver 
shorted one day.  It was the first real emergency of my career. 
Fortunately my ham radio experience let me right to it.  A few years 
later WDOR bought an RCA BTA 1 kW which is still on the air.
